Yes, of course, and this is why - a spiritually corrupt or a spiritually dead person would not be a nurturing care giver.

The ability to nurture is a spiritual gift. Likewise, all of nature is spiritually driven. A child’s personality is a spiritual thing and I believe children are born innocent. I know not all people agree.

Nature and nurture are interactive spiritually driven forces. Psychologist Donald Hebb once answered : It’s like asking which contributes more to a rectangle, it’s length or it’s width?

A loving home with Godly values can produce wonderful, well-balanced children; a violent home produces less socially and emotionally adequate children - they may need help to learn basic trust and love in order to be productive, happy members of society, and it is too late in some cases.

Please give an example of how you have taken ownership of your personal development or have

I took my career in my hands. My life, especially my career was going nowhere. I had the qualification and talent, but still I was lagging behind. So, I just got a grip of my life and decided to change my whole working manner. Started putting in more hours and worked with goals in my mind.

The outcome is that I got two promotions and increments in less than 2 year

I’m an 8th grade girl, so nothing that’s 1000 pages long or has a bunch of SAT words in it.

My favorite books are Of Mice and Men, and A Clockwork Orange.

I’m also interested in graphic novels, but I still need some ideas that could count as school reading material. I can get bored of books pretty easily so I need a book with an engaging plot and characters. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

You can do exercises that allow them to speak and express themselves emotionally through direct and non-direct channels.
Self-esteem activities are good ones.

I’ve been listening to wayne dyer a lot lately. I really like his message… all about positive thinking and the law of attraction. You can choose what you think about, and what you think about becomes what you believe and that’s what you’ll attract into your life regardless of it being positive or negative. My problem is that I don’t know how to make myself believe in things that aren’t true.

I like a lot of what he has to say. But I am a critical thinker too, so I understand difficulty in trying to incorporate everything he teaches. I have found that we can pick and choose what we think is applicable to our life and who we are. Maybe 15% of what he says doesn’t work for you, but there may be value in the other 85%. And maybe that leads you somewhere new as well.

He and others have helped me understand my spiritual side in a way that organized religions have not. I don’t think that I can control outcomes through specific thought, but I do believe there is a greater influence outside ourselves that we can all focus on and connect with.

There is a lot to be said for the energy (how we choose to focus our thoughts and attention) that we create in our lives and in our relations with each other and nature. External tangibles cannot be controlled by manipulating how you think, but if you focus on the things you really want/ need then you will likely see that they have been around you the entire time.

I haven’t been out of the house all day but I am suffering from hay fever. Everything outside is frozen and its snowing.. and there are no plants in the house.

Your cat has worms in his intestines. He needs to go to the Vet to get a deworming medicine. Take a stool sample to the Vets, to get the correct pill for the type of worm your cat has.

i put hay in my dogs house so they would have warmth for the winter but my brother said that hay would harbor heartworms and that kinda stuff. he said that i should use pine straw so can you use hay in a doghouse. (its bermuda hay)

Heartworms are spread by mosquitoes, not hay. If you buy good quality hay, there shouldn’t be any parasites at all in it unless they were already present on your dog. It’s perfectly fine to use but make sure you change it often so your dog always has a clean, dry bed. My dogs have always been house dogs but growing up we would put hay in their dog houses to keep them warm if they were outside for a bit. Never had a problem with it and the dogs loved to snuggle into it. I personally prefer timothy or alfalfa just because it smells really nice. Just watch that your dog doesn’t decide to eat it. If he does, you’ll need to find an alternative bedding. Hay and straw can cause intestinal damage if ingested.

I’m 16 and in high school and the thing is that shes coming over tomorrow morning and then where goin to a hunted house/ haunted hay ride where she works and then im supposed to spend the night at her house cause its gunna be late and itd be pointless to have my mom come get me but she wont let me what should I do plz help?

Make sure your mum is in a happy mood to begin with. Now if shes, lets say, hanging out the laundry, help out. Now tell her that you’ve been invited to go there by a few people, and once it’s over, it will be too dark and you don’t want to hassle any one to come pick you up, and that your ‘friend’ will allow you to stay at their place. This should work out.

I have read all the vampire series and Harry Potter, I also enjoyed all the Nicholas Sparks books. However, I am looking for more adult books.
