    Jim,

    Jim,

I just wanted to say thank you for your book, The Read-Aloud Handbook. It’s one of the best non-fiction books I have ever read. Because of your selfless writing my wife and I read prolifically to our now five-year-old daughter and going into Kindergarten this fall she is a fluent reader. While that’s nice, more importantly we wouldn’t trade the time we’ve spent reading to her (read: being with her) for anything. The thoughts in your book helped make that a reality. Thank you very much.
