I want to be a professional writer in the personal development field like jack Canfield and Antony Robbins.
I believe that people will not trust me if I am not holding a certificate or a degree which will make me qualified for writing in the subject .
what is the required degree to be a professional writer in the personal development field ?

Professional writers often hold degrees in language(English) or communications or journalism. For your specific field, you might consider a degree in psychology as well.

What are the self-concept factors? And how does each of these factors effect a person’s personal development positively and negatively?

Only you can answer that for yourself !

I think this is a great question. Self hypnosis or generative trance work speaks to our core selves, the original part of each of us that holds our unique aptitudes and creativity. Going to our source, which is a relaxing and meditative practice, can help us find basic truths about who we are and be a life-altering process. At a minimum, it is a relaxation practice. At a maximum, it becomes a way to heal past trauma and help the individual operate from a place of compassion about the self. From this compassionate and centered place, the individual’s world view expands and so too the individual’s life expands. Personal development, you bet! What do you think about self hypnosis for personal development? A good question indeed.

well, because it makes you look good to them so they will remember you when there is an opening that you can move forward to. Or, so you can make sure your goals are in line with the company goals. If your goals and their goals are too different, you may want to change your goals, or change your job.

FIRST LAW: Discovery of endowment. The limits of magnetic endowment latent in every normal person emerge only through prolonged effort in the culture of magnetism.

SECOND LAW: Difficult environment. Magnetism develops in direct proportion to the difficulty of environment.

THIRD LAW: Magnetic intention. Magnetism evolves solely through multiplication of endowment into environment by the persistent magnetic intention.

FOURTH LAW: Free adjustment. The culture of magnetism imperatively demands that central adjustment of the self to all powers which realizes in absolute psychic freedom.

FIFTH LAW: Concentration. The magnetic multiplication of endowment into environment is only possible to intense, persistent and unified concentration to the methods of Success-Magnetism.

SIXTH LAW: Purpose-ideals. Growth of noblest magnetism depends, in the larger sense, upon general adherence to a single, preeminent, ideal life-purpose, and, in the particular sense, upon specialization of the individual in studied magnetic conduct related to that end.

SEVENTH LAW: Receptivity. The highest magnetism realizes through magnetic laws in proportion as the inner self maintains alert receptivity to the Universal Forces.

EIGHTH LAW: Demand. The silent, persistent demand of the self upon the Universal Magnetism makes it a center toward which the Forces naturally gravitate.

NINTH LAW: Affirmation. Continuous, intense affirmation of actual possessed magnetic power stimulates the success-elements, maintains receptivity, emphasizes demand, harmonizes and intensifies inner etheric vibrations, and induces a positive movement of the universal ether and its forces inward toward the central self.

TENTH LAW: Psychic energy. All personal magnetism involves psychic energy developed and directed by magnetic intention.

ELEVENTH LAW: Self-control. Magnetic energy concentrates through psychic control of its tendencies.

TWELFTH LAW: Magnetic quality. The inner psychic attitude the character of magnetic intention determines the quality and effectiveness of the effort to multiply endowment into environment, and, therefore, the kind and degree of magnetism attained.

THIRTEENTH LAW: Self-valuation. Other things being equal, magnetism unfolds as gratifying, but unostentatious, self- valuation develops.

FOURTEENTH LAW: Use of self. Under conformity to other magnetic laws, the highest magnetism issues only from the constant best use of self at its best to the best advantage.

FIFTEENTH LAW: Magnetic heroism. Self-pity, complaint, and all kindred states, confuse, weaken and waste every variety of magnetic power, while heroic acceptance of conditions for their betterment, and courageous assertion of self as master, conserve and enormously develop the noblest magnetism in proportion to the sway of the magnetic intention.

SIXTEENTH LAW: Action and reaction. Highest magnetism involves not only studied cultivation, but, as well, the magnetic utilization of stimulating reactions induced by intelligent employment.

SEVENTEENTH LAW: Recovery. Whoever, on occasion of any psychic (magnetic) failure or defeat, dedicates the whole of aroused desperation to recovery of ground, infallibly induces a stress in the etheric life around him which ultimately draws to his aid, with the onsweep of worlds, the Universal Forces.

EIGHTEENTH LAW: Reproduction. “Everything is transmitted, everything is transformed, everything is reproduced” (Ochorowicz); in physical and psychic health alone, therefore, are the Universal Forces transmitted through perfect etheric vibrations, transformed through effective etheric conduction, and reproduced in magnetism by adequate and harmonious psychic control of etheric capabilities.

NINETEENTH LAW: Superiority of culture. The crude values of natural magnetism, the automatic functions of unconscious magnetism, demonstrate at their best solely as they climax in full conscious magnetic culture.

William A. Keleher : Getting personal

The people of New Mexico may have heard of an individual named William A. Keleher. But I highly doubt if they know the real Keleher, because you can only know this truly amazing person with deep contemplation. In this article, I will try my level best to tell you about William Keleher, at least as much as I have learnt about him after extensive research and study. Please read on.

William Aloysius Keleher (1886-1972), was the offspring of David and Mary Ann Gorry Keleher. Three years after his birth, the family moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico where he enrolled at St. Mary’s Parochial School. Unfortunately, he could not complete the eighth grade when family needs forced him to drop out of school in 1900. Poor William had to work in order to help support his beloved family. He began his working life as a messenger for the Western Union telegraph company. He was promoted from a counter clerk to a telegraph operator, owing to his merit and skills. The following years saw him trying various jobs, never settling in a particular field. In this period of time, he worked in Bluewater Development Company and the board of education situated locally. A few years later, he was accepted by Washington and Lee University as a special student. He studied law and graduated in an impressive two years’ time (1915). The same year, he returned to Albuquerque to practice law. Eventually, he founded one of the largest law firms in the state (Keleher & McLeod) that would be named after him and his partner, A. Howard McLeod.

The firm (Keleher & McLeod), where Keleher devoted himself fully in the practice of law still runs strong today after so many years. As a matter of fact, it is perceived as one of the oldest and reliable law firms in New Mexico. Three of Keleher’s sons, William, Michael and Thomas are still affiliated with the firm.

William Keleher’s collection, not surprisingly, is situated in UNM since all of his children attended UNM for their degree. Moreover, many of Keleher’s grandchildren are studying or have studied there. It was in 1968 when this University offered Keleher an honorary degree. He gave an emotional birthday speech at its Alumni Chapel in 1962.
The family papers of Kelehers contain information on his wife and four sons. Information about Keleher’s family and siblings were also divulged by these papers. Also found was the Kelehers’ involvement in the fundraisers’ community and their ownership of different Albuquerque properties (most notably Altura Addition, Altura Shopping Center, Buena Vista Heights Addition, Huning Castle Addition, Mandell Business and Residence Addition).

In my opinion, Keleher lived his life to the fullest. Strictly speaking from Maslow’s theory of needs concept, Keleher reached the pinnacle as a human being which may sound really fascinating owing to the fact that he was a high school dropout. His accomplishments are sky-high and I can assure you, very few individuals soared to such heights in their span of life. The New Mexico Bar Association named Keleher one of the outstanding lawyers of the century in the year of 2000. He was also a news reporter, widely known author and a historian. University of New Mexico awarded him two honorary degrees. It is still not known to many that he was the attorney of Elfego Baca, a popular figure in New Mexico in the 1900s. Some of the most high-quality works on the Southwest were engendered by him. Books like “Maxwell Land Grant,”, “Fabulous Frontier”, “Turmoil in New Mexico”, “Violence in Lincoln County” and “Memoirs” are more than enough to prove his excellence in the fields he worked in. Zimmerman Library received the whole collection of William Keleher’s books and archive of papers/manuscripts, which would someday divulge more amazing works of the great man. William A. Keheler lived in Albuquerque for eighty four years and passed away at the age of eighty six in 1972, but he left his memories, achievements and most importantly, inspiration to his descendants and the people of New Mexico. Men of such league do not grace the earth very often. It is an honor to have someone like W.A. Keleher in New Mexico.

Is your marriage growing? Are you growing? Are you just going from problem to problem, or looking at the bigger picture of what life is about for you, your marriage and your family? Growth and development moves more quickly when we clearly focus on it.

It is so easy to be distracted by life’s many demands. Let’s take a moment, quiet ourselves, and consider the longer view:

1. What do I/We really want?

The question of the ages. So many things we want to do with our lives and so little time to get to them.

What is really worth our efforts? How much are we willing to invest in that direction? How do we balance the long term desire against the daily necessities?

2. Should I/We really change?

Being complacent kills opportunity. Are we willing to give up the familiar and to accept the challenge? Is there a small beginning we’re willing to make without scaring ourselves to death by starting too big?

3. What’s the bright side in all of this?

People truly are happier when they look at the “half filled glass.” We’ve got research that demonstrates it. Why should you be left out?

4. Am I/We comfortable with what we’re doing?

Are there any red flags we’re not paying attention to? Are we compromising ourselves in some way? Our we truly being true to who we are?

5. Have I done enough for myself?

Discontentment building up over time can be dangerous to your relationships, but becoming aware of it along the way can enable you to do things you never imagined.

6. Am I happy at where I/We are today?

Am I happy with my life’s level of love, sharing, sex, money, parenting ability, vacations and time off, relating to inlaws, meaning in our lives, etc…

7. How much could I/We have?

Are there self-limiting beliefs that lock us into the spot we’re in? How much is REALLY possible? Would we be willing to make the sacrifices necessary? Is God, the Universe, or our Life-Purpose calling us toward something we can barely imagine?

8. What motivates me?

What motivates you? It’s an answer you have to find for yourselves. There are so many things that can make each of us happy, but to choose just one can be extremely difficult. Sometimes we need to focus in on the One Main Thing.

9. What Really Makes Me/Us Tick?

So, what really makes you tick? Ask your partner for observations on you. Changing, improving, or growing is sometimes forced upon us by circumstances, but it is always a better journey when you Really Want It. My personal experience is that just when I think I’ve got myself figured out I discover something else lurking within. The years go by, my experience increases, and new dimensions of myself are brought forth. So it is with you, as well.

Life is a journey. Separately or together we progress from learning to learning. We can facilitate the process be staying open to the wonder of it all, always asking what we can now know more fully about ourselves. Ask, and receive!
